Access online and free of charge the module 20 of C1b3rWall Academy 2026, promoted by the Spanish National Police and the University of Salamanca, dedicated to cybersecurity crisis management, incident response, and the strategies needed to deal with critical situations arising from cyberattacks.
Throughout the module, you will learn about different approaches to cybersecurity incident management and response, addressing how to act in a coordinated manner during a crisis and how to reduce its impact on organizations. Aspects related to incident management, response coordination, and decision-making in particularly critical situations will be covered.
In addition, the module addresses the issue of ransomware and the management of incidents associated with this type of threat, together with the use of response automation and orchestration technologies, such as SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) platforms. It also introduces the possibilities offered by Agentic AI applied to incident response, exploring how artificial intelligence agents can support and automate certain tasks within an Incident Response (IR) process.
This module will enable you to gain a practical understanding of how to prepare for, manage, and respond to a cyber crisis, combining response procedures, automation, and new capabilities based on artificial intelligence. In this way, you will understand how to improve the coordination and efficiency of security teams when dealing with incidents such as ransomware attacks and other threats that require a rapid and structured response.
