Available from October 14.
With the support of the Institute for Business Competitiveness of the Regional Government of Castilla y León and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Quantum Shield project presents the course From Quantum Foundations to Post-Quantum Implementation (PQC), a free online training program available on the e4you platform.
The training is designed to ensure cybersecurity in the digital future by introducing quantum computing, understanding the security threat it poses, analyzing the time horizon of that threat, and exploring practical solutions applied to a SOC (Security Operations Center) and blockchain technology.
The course is structured into two fundamental modules:
- Module 1: Odev, Regev, Quantum Computing and Cybersecurity
- Module 2: From QDay to PQC Implementation
COURSE COMPETENCIES
Upon completion, the student will be able to:
- Understand the relationship between quantum computing and cybersecurity by analyzing key algorithms such as Regev's and Grover Rudolph's.
- Analyze the mathematical foundations of Learning With Errors (LWE) and its relevance as a fundamental pillar of post-quantum cryptography (PQC).
- Assess the impact of QDay and the Harvest Now, Decrypt Later risk, understanding migration strategies and the standards defined by NIST.
- Design and integrate post-quantum algorithm solutions within the operational architecture of a SOC.
- Identify quantum vulnerabilities in blockchain technology and analyze case studies and practical PQC implementation tests.
